Out of respect for the privacy of the FReepers, I’ve tried not to broadcast the fact that I have the addresses of some FReepers. But I cherish the friendships, so I have kept them to myself.
However, you are right about address and FReepers: If nothing else, being in such close contact allows a certain amount of “extended family” feelings, and gives one more outlet if we need to contact the FReeper.
It is also a good idea to have one person (at least) on FR who is closer than others to have phone number. This allows for emergency situations to not go into panic mode. If one is not heard from for a day or two, the phone number and or other email allows for contact.
