Will they have to put it on the dark side of the moon ? No, they're planning on putting it at the south pole of the moon, where the temperature is more stable.

I think it’s a great idea.
I haven’t looked at a “map” of our solar system and it’s place in our Galaxy in some time, but I suspect this observation platform will provide views of the Universe that we have never seen.
