muawiyah: "This 4,000 years ago event occurs at the same time as the beginning of the Monsoon Winds into India..."

According to this source:

muawiyah: "...also coincident with a little known event ~ Lake Erie shrank to its present size.
Before this time it extended nearly all the way to the Western boundary of present day Indiana.
Something happened and the water level dropped, the lake shrank, and bingo it took on its current appearance. "

According to this source:

Current Niagara Falls formed around 10,000 years ago.

muawiyah: "It's probably safe to say that there was a lengthy period of droughts around the world.
Most likely seasons got shorter and the world cooled."

According to this source:

But so long as we've properly identified your words as mythology and not science, then I'm perfectly happy with what you've said here.

You misunderstood the point on the monsoon ~ wasn't about monsoonal flow but about the actual flow of those winds OVER the Souvrn' half of the Indian subcontinent. Whatever happened even 20,000 years ago is irrelevant to the point ~ which was ~ that at the beginning of the period denoted ~ lasts 4000 years ~ the monsoon winds from the West just blew straight across Southern india from Arabia to SE Asia. But then something caused them to change and they blew further North allowing what had been a year round monsoon season to disappear and be replaced with an intermitent monsoon season. That reduced the annual rainfall substantially drying out much of the then inpenetrable jungle, and allowing human beings to begin serious settlement in the South.

Up until about 4000 years ago ALL the Dravidian speaking people lived in the North. Then, with settlement possible in the South they moved there. Today we think of them all as living in Southern India.

Note, the big cats did great in the jungle in the South ~ and until the area dried out humans could not compete with them. China seems to have had some problem along that line up until the end of the Younger Dryas ~ then the climate changed, the cats languished, and people moved in. But up until that time people lived West of what is considered modern China.

“But so long as we’ve properly identified your words as mythology and not science,”

Well, either some scientists’ current theories are infallible, or the Bible is infallible. Take your pick. I go with God’s word.
