Have R&R ramped up their attack?
I’m in California/SF Bay Area just north of SF and have seen plenty of Obama ads, but at the end, he is asking for donations so they are not so much campaign ads, but solicitations for cash in solid Blue States.
He’s running lots of ads here in Vermont as well. Not sure why, unless the intent is for them to be seen in NH.
Not ferocity -- but mendacity?
MOST interesting!
So much for the power of advertising in the TV age Eh!
They are NOT the same 47% BTW. Any answer you make will be held against you. So, be careful how you deal with this 'cause you've gotta' work the black people into your audience and they are 40% of effective voting strength for the Democrat party.
Over the past 70 years the standard ‘be a nice guy’ GOP-e campaign has won ~ ZERO TIMES
That reminds me that I was talking this weekend with a lady I have known for 20 years although we had never discussed politics previously. I mentioned that it was the Democrats of the South who actually owned the slaves and that the Union was predominantly Republican that freed them. You can’t believe the negative reaction I got. I had never fully appreciated before that ALL people of white ancestry are perpetually guilty for slavery and it is divisive to blame only some of them!
The 47% that will vote for Obama.
Palm Beach County, Florida:
No, nothing much from Romney yet. But there is a very effective ad from another group (wish I could remember who) that shows Bibi asking “If not now, when?”, and then a Jewish fellow says he will not vote for Obama again.
That one is very good.
I’m not personally suggesting that Romney play nice. But I am suggesting that he start playing hardball after the debates.
However, I would agree that Romney could be more aggressive in getting his message out to the people as to what he intends to do.
