When Media Matters helped organize the Stop Rush boycott pressuring corporations to pull advertisements from Rush Limbaughs show, the online file storage company Carbonite was one of the first big names to give in. Now, as William Jacobson of the Legal Insurrection blog noted, Carbonites CEO David Friend conceded on a conference call that dropping Limbaugh deeply hurt the companys earnings.

Perhaps liberal women hate him, but conservative women?
Not sure, but I think that was the bed company. Sleep Number.
They got their just desserts. Tough Crap! Rush did the right thing with these advertisers.
I am one of those that dumped Carbonite service.
So he’s not regretful of his impactful screwupful.
Meanwhile, Rush is laughing all the way to the bank.
That would be Yusuf Islam, aka Cat Stevens.
IMHO, anybody that depends on a cloud-based backup service, like Carbonite, is just asking for trouble as you have absolutely no control over your data.
Spend $100, buy an external hard drive and back it up yourself. It’s not that hard anymore.
Okay okay...!
Oh, I have been listening on my portable radio on 770 AM since July 4, 1988. - Never online .Sean Hannity from 3 to 6 has noticabely fewer PSAs. If I had the chance , and it meant anything I would write down those not PSA.

There's no going back to Rush Limbaugh. Nearly a dozen advertisers defected from the controversial radio host's program after he called Georgetown Law student Sandra Fluke a "slut" and a "prostitute." One of them was mattress retailer Sleep Train, which had been advertising with Limbaugh for 25 years. In the wake of the controversy, the company said they were "currently" pulling their ads. "Currently" came and went, and a Limbaugh spokesman said Sleep Train had asked to resume a "voiced endorsement" from Limbaugh, according to the LA Times. However, Sleep Train apparently didn't grovel sufficiently, and Limbaugh closed the door on resuming their relationship: A Limbaugh spokesman wrote in an email to Sleep Train that "your public comments were not well received by our audience, and did not accurately portray either Rush Limbaugh's character or the intent of his remarks. Thus, we regret to inform you that Rush will be unable to endorse Sleep Train in the future."
If that is so and they think it is because of Rush they can announce they will no longer carry Rush after his present contract runs out or they can buy out his contract. I predict Limbaugh would be back up in that market the next day!!!
The song was “Peace Train”.
Somehow I don’t think we’ve heard the last of Fluke; like Client 9.
Excellent choice.
Does it have EMP protection?
Maybe Sandra Fluke can advertise for Carbonite, eheheheh>
I don't think so. But it is fire proof and water proof. I figured it was cheap insurance against loosing all our families pictures and important documents, all of which have been scanned into digital form and stored on the iOsafe. You can also lock it down to a desk or wherever to make it at least much more difficult to steal
Han Solo isn't a fan of Carbonite.
