Oh Wow...Thanks! This solves a big mystery.
For days, the announcers on TV and Radio have been speaking of the ANNUAL Solar eclipse! I KNEW this was crazy since we don’t have a Solar eclipse Every YEAR. It bothered me, as I heard it on at least two broadcasts.

Now I see that the word is “Annular”, which means something TOTALLY different.

Either the Newsreaders misread their announcements or the copy was wrong, or maybe both!

One of the people who used the incorrect word has two doctorates from Berkley in Botany and Nutrition...Guess who?
