I was screaming at the TV—that was embarrassing. They made FOOLS out of themselves jumping on stage. America voted; deal with it, dogs.
Thankfully the judges still had the save.
That's right, America voted...some, such as yourself, voted for another singer 150 times, by your own admission. Do you really believe that constitutes "America voting" in any representational sense? Does that vote reflect the will of the show's viewers?
Who can possibly know? If there are grown adults who will vote for a contestant 150 times, what does an Idol vote tally ever mean?
I never vote for the contestants on this show, because I record it and watch it after the voting lines are closed due to work every Wednesday night. I never know which number to call for my favorites, and I don't get to see who performed well anyway. I'd never vote more than once or without viewing the performances to determine my nightly preferences.
The judges believed in Sanchez so much they knew they'd save her regardless of what she sang. There was no point in continuing. They ran onstage to comfort a 16-year-old girl participating in an emotionally and physically brutal competition who deserved the save as much as anyone ever has.
Where does all this vitriol aimed at Sanchez come from?
Since they have a save, why not use it for a singer that consistently blows their minds?
LOL!
