After dismissing Iovine's choice of a No Doubt song, Shannon goes with Mariah Carey's "One Sweet Day". will.i.am urges her to control her breathing. We see Shannon lying down on the floor, trying not to breathe.

This could be a disaster, but it's not bad. Decent job.

Steven: I think you sing your best when you don't try so hard and that was beautiful.

J-Lo: I didn't know that song, so it's a Colton song to me. You did that really really well. And you look pretty when you sings.

Steven: I think it was the wrong song for your voice. (audience boos loudly) Raspberries! I didn't feel the song going anywhere. [I agree]

Randy: This is a case to me that the song choice didn't matter. I like this guy.
