Instead of mayo try 1000 Island Dressing. One Thanksgiving night when we were raiding the fridge, HORROR! No mayo nor even whipped salad dressing! After that, we ensured the fridge was properly equipped every Thanksgiving, with 1000 Island Dressing.

That sounds like a plan!....Thousand or Russian would be great in that sandwich....a Turkey Ruben with stuffing instead of sauerkraut :>)

Speaking of yummy delish sandwiches, I got the ‘Howie Carr’ with mustard at Micheal’s Deli - it was heaven. Next time you’re in Btown - check it out.

I just made these for the first time.. very delicious and addictive! I used ghiradelli chips.

Kix Peanut Butter Chocolate Crisps

1/2 cup (130 grams) peanut butter
1/3 cup (63 grams) granulated sugar
1/3 cup (65 grams) packed brown sugar
1/3 cup (75 grams) butter, softened
1/2 teaspoon (2 ml) baking soda
1/2 teaspoon (2 ml) baking powder
1 egg
½ teaspoon (2 ml) vanilla
4 cups Kix cereal (100 grams)
3/4 to 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Heat oven to 325 degrees F. Stir peanut butter, sugars, butter, baking soda, baking powder, egg and vanilla in large bowl until well mixed. Stir in cereal and chocolate chips.

Shape dough by rounded tablespoonfuls into balls; place about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 5 minutes; remove from cookie sheet. Cool completely. Store loosely covered. Makes about 3 1/2 dozen cookies.

It was good! Really set up nicely, liked the way it looked and thinking it would be great in a cranberry cheesecake.

UNO’s served a potato pizza, which was tasty. Mashed potatoes in a crust with sour cream, cheesw and IIRC green onion on top. Yummy.
They sold it as an appetizer but with salads it was a meal for 2.
