Don't ban me --serious Romney question!
Me

Posted on 10/11/2011 10:07:26 PM PDT by MacMattico

What if Romney wins the primary? Seriously. There is a chance. Mainstream politicians are lining up behind him. I know Mr. Robinson's strong views about Romney, and he is not my choice. But if he wins the primary, do we accept 4 more years of Obama and along with it supreme court picks, Obamacare, and another great depression? Does choice of VP make a difference to anyone?

It’s pretty to think so...

We’ll cross that bridge when we come to it. Voting the lesser of two evils just puts you on the high side of the same ditch.

There are 2 conservative announced candidates. Cain and Bachman. Cain has my nod at this juncture, but HeMan is not my first choice.

The Republican Party: they’ll pay a little lip service to conservatives at election time, but one thing you can be sure of...they’ll sell you, and all principle, out in the end every single time.

We won't have to worry about repealing Obamacare.
It will just be renamed Romneycare and the great slide into socialism will continue.

We'll just accept it, and life will go on.
I practiced getting ready....by pissing on my cornflakes this morning.

For lunch tomorrow...I'm making a turd sandwich.

GO CAIN!

I won’t reward the GOP establishment elite by giving them my vote. I’m through playing their games.

Real good chance Romney wins the nomination and that means its assured, Obama wins the general.

There is a core of conservatives who will not vote for the statist pig Romney under any circumstance. Count me as one of those conservatives.

Me either. However, anyone who thought the Tea Party swung the Republicrats to the right is’nt watching this primary. The fix is in and the rise of Cain greatly benefits Mitt.

In the end, it’s anyone but Obama but I pray it’s not Mitt.

As an aside, there is still a long ways to go and the healthcare bomb dropped by the Obama administration today will hurt Romney. Why they did not hold onto that card has me rather perplexed from a purely political standpoint. It did not make sense to use an ace like that in the middle of a muddled primary when you could hold onto it for the main event.

Why don’t we hand wring about that when we have to? I am one who does not see Milt winning the nomination. He is flat in the polls no matter how much money and endorsements he collects. Christies backing today will do nothing for him. STOP PANICKING.

As President, Romney would simply take us down the road to the New World Order/One World Government at a little slower pace than 0bama.

Correct. Mitt will do NOTHING to turn our Republic towards Liberty. 2012 is likely our last chance to prevent our Republic from being transformed into a socialist hell.

Mitt is a hard-core Statist at heart. Mitt does not view government as a necessary evil but as a playground for programs to build his "legacy."

Mitt will NOT repeal Obamacare, but "reform" it for the American People.

It's in Mitt's DNA to grow government.

I will, without guilt or hesitation, withhold my vote for Mitt. In office, he will just be a placeholder until the next Marxist finishes transforming our Republic into a third world socialist sewer.

Obama must be replaced by someone who will to lead the effort to slash government and fire government parasites.

If Obama is replaced by Obama-lite, then the left wins.

At all costs, we must not allow Mitt to be the GOP nominee.

This election, I will vote my conscience.

I will write-in Herman Cain.

Maybe I would vote for him if there was no other choice. All of my money would go to TP congressional candidates. Not a penny to him. Let the elite squander their resources. They will be pushed aside soon enough. One way or another.

At the moment Cain is my choice. That is where my money is going.

Voting for Romney is Obama light. Getting a conservative congress will become the most important thing during the next four years.

“Does choice of VP make a difference to anyone?”

It’s not going to make a difference as to who wins the election. Rarely does, and will not this time for sure, IMO. I regard it as a distraction.

I ask... how many crooked hands from the bottom of the deck will we ALLOW the GOP to deal us before we revolt? How Many Doles And Bushs and McCains and Romneys is one too many?

Well, I and millions of others were convinced that the Reagan of our time was about to step in, but something changed her mind at the last minute.

For what it's worth, I can't help but believe that some very powerful forces within the ruling class set a roadblock in place that is too large for even the most courageous patriot to move alone.

It makes me despise the political establishment even more than I already do. The people almost had their candidate this time, but as always, we will wind up with Mr. Milquetoast again. I'm afraid the game is rigged, and that it's going to stay rigged, until the people rise up and change it.

Well I don't think we'd have Eric Holder, Geitner, Bernanke, and a sh** load of communist czars under Mittens. I don't think the only criteria for supreme court justice would be that you're a lesbian. I think he would surround himself with better military and economic advisers. I don't want Romney to win the primary, but it's not just Romney vs Obama if he does, it's also getting rid of Obamas communist/socialist underlings and access to the White House by people like Van Jones, Valerie Jarret and Bill Ayers.

Well, let’s all work to ensure that doesn’t happen.

If it does, no question, voting against Obama is easy.

I agree.

We've got to get someone better than Romney on our ticket.

I felt the same way about Sarah as you. Something happened.

I can't tell you how much I loathe the GOP. Even if we win in 2012 with a Conservative ( I feel Cain can win it), I want the GOP destroyed. I want that Statist GOP party thrown onto the ash heap of history.

By using the Internet, it should be quite easy to sites that will help to facilitate and move Conservatives and Patriotic Americans to a new party. Mechanisms can be developed to put in place ease the transition.

The people are hungry for smaller government and the two parties only want bigger government. Our Republic is at the point of no return from a Socialist Hell. 2012 is likely our last chance to turn things around. Let's keep praying.
