Cuba came up again at a Bachmann campaign rally in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Monday when a supporter asked her to amplify on her debate comments. This time, the Minnesota congresswoman cited reports that Hezbollah, the militant Muslim group based in Lebanon, had established training sites in Cuba and might even set up missile sites 90 miles from U.S. soil.

Is she a member of a Security Commission? Seems like I remember her being so.
If they’re setting up shop in Venezuela, its a fair bet that they’re setting up shop in Cuba.
She is member of the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence according to the biography on her web page.

Hooking up with Mexican Drug Carels.
General Bob Scales told Gretta on FNC tonight that there are about 18,000 Mexican drug cartel members in Texas.
Seems that I’ve read that a lot of Mexican elected officials also keep homes in the USA.
Does this mean that we will also be going to Cuba if she is elected?

Certainly they do.
A few years ago, a former Police Chief of Guadalahara sold a home in Aspen, CO for $7.9 million. As police Chief, his salary was about $18,000.00 USD.
This is why Bachmann is at single digits. The nation is going to have a fiscal stroke within months, the Obama administration sees the Constitution as a suggestion and Iran is about to make Israel a smoking sheet of glass. Cuba? Seriously?
If the threat from Cuba meets the following criteria, certainly an action would be prudent.
"Therefore, we [Free Republic] wholeheartedly support the Bush Doctrine of pre-emptive strikes on known terrorist states and organizations that are believed to present a clear threat to our freedom or national security."
However, I believe it's 99 and 44/100% likely that Bachmann is just plain crazy.
Explain to me how Iraq falls into that category.
“However, I believe it’s 99 and 44/100% likely that Bachmann is just plain crazy.”
She does keep things interesting.
Unfortunately you see how some “so called” conservatives treat her. She’s probably the single firmest conservative in the race and there are pathetic morons right here in this thread calling her crazy just like leftists.
Ya know, there are other issues in the world that are important despite the fact that the news isn’t talking about them. Michele Bachmann is actually in on the intel and if she thinks we should keep tabs on Cuba and be aware, I think she’s probably more trustworthy on this issue than anyone else in the race.
In fact, maybe we should be a little more concerned about what’s going on in our front yard.
Thanks. :-)

You’re absolutely right on all counts.
This country is about to find out how right she is.
They’re doing exactly the same as the left has done with Sarah Palin.
Seizing on one small issue she’s brought up and treating it as if it were her whole campaign and ignoring other things like the fact that she wants to eliminate the Department of Education and return schools to local control.
The fact is that she wisely suggests keeping an eye on Cuba and continuing to treat them as an enemy because the are. Its a far cry from saying she wants to go to war with them but she’s a lot more in line with the apparently forgotten Monroe Doctrine.
Sure the mideast is important, but we’ve been neglecting our own back yard for far too long and its going to bite us.
