Perry’s an opportunist. He fell ass backwards into the governor’s office after barely winning election as Lt. Governor.
He’s undefeated in over two decades. That’s not falling “ass backwards” into anything. And for what it’s worth, he has been a heck of a lot better governor that Bush every thought about being.
