I am skeptical.
It seems curious that the only images/video was from a distance.
The one up-close image was blurry. It seemed likely to be a mal-formed goat or calf.
If it really were a ‘strange new creature’, zoologists would be there conducting tests, etc.

I just saw some special on them and the zoologists are there studying them. They studied a carcas that was hit by a car and if I recall correctly, the DNA was a cross between a coyote and a mexican/grey wolf.
It sure looked a ton different then either of those, but that was the result of that particular DNA test....

The Texas Parks and Wildlife said it gets reports of the animal from time to time. They have yet to define the animal as a chupacabra.
