The phone system was not functioning properly/the numbers were skewed so voted for James actually went to Haley/the internet voting wasn’t functioning right either. Something needs to be done.”

“I voted for James quite a few times using both 5701 and 5705. One of the times I called I was thanked for voting for contestant 3. This was definitely wrong since I verified I dialed correctly. Now I read in this thread of comments that 5705 was for Haley? This is really messed up. James was by far the most talented and this voting issue needs to be addressed. This is not even to mention all the times I called and could not get through. It is not a fair vote if votes are not counted and are directed to the wrong contestants.”

“You are so right. I voted for 2 hrs for James mostly on the #5 number. I thought it was his. I couldn’t get through on the #1 number. I even went back in the DVR to check to be sure I had the right numbers. It showed 1 and 5 for James not 1 and 8.. What happened. I think Scotty and Lauren kept their same rotations so their numbers would have been failsafe.I feel physically sick to my stomach. I was voting for Haley and didn’t know it.”
“They did James a misjustice. They changed the order of second song and Haley sang in James number 5 slot. Idol needs to compare votes for number 1 and 5 (what should have been James numbers) and number 2 and 6 (what should have been Haleys numbers and see if they match. They owe this to James and he and the Judges should insist on it. I have watched all seasons and have never seen them change the order on a two song night.”

This is a matter of BUSY SIGNALS. You know, that beep beep sound you get when the line is BUSY. I tried calling in for Scotty a lot of times when I got busy signals, too. You just have to keep calling.
When they have multiple phone numbers per person I try to stay with the first #.
This one is hilarious! Haley's numbers were 2 and 6, not 1, 5 or 8!!! LMAO
Wow, I wonder if there is something wrong. Were people making mistakes and dialing the number based on the order they sang? Or was something wrong with the lines?
I just checked my text voting. I got confirmation that my votes for 01 were indeed for James. No mistakes there. I just can’t believe enough people voted for Haley over James. But everyone’s tastes are different.
