The helmet actually gave more confidence to do things I might not have done otherwise.

I have since slammed into some trees while running through them.

Biggest thing I have noticed is the same as you.

For some damn reason with no one around people seem to come from out of nowhere and run me over.

I even have a friend who has done it to me twice.

I to go as fast as I can and love the backside of Heavenly. Longest run on the mountain and fast, except on wet days. Then it like trudging through mud.

Jews don't ski.

Jews were not designed to ski.

No snow in the Tanach.

No skiing in the Tanach.

Playing in Galus has its risks.

Please tell me you are joking.

“No snow in the Tanach.”

Except for Moshe’s hand coming out of his cloak, you mean.

And Benaiah son of Jehoiada, going down into a pit on a snowy day and killing a lion.

Job had some issues with snow, too.

Psalms mention snow a bit, too, in a rather wonderful way.

“No skiing in the Tanach.”

And no microwaves, anti-biotics, and F-16s.

I would have starved to death without the first, died in childhood without the second, and the then-head Rabbi of Israel prayed for my entire squadron one day.

“Playing in Galus has its risks.”

So does living in the Diaspora, in general. That’s life.

F-16s aren’t metioned in the Tanuch, either, and no one seemed to mind my flying that.
