Every time I hear “reach out to [somebody/something] I just want to hurl chunks.

Every time I hear “reach out to [somebody/something] I just want to hurl chunks of concrete at the person who said it.

The only times I’ve liked “reach out to” in the last ten years is when a) Tony Soprano would say it and 2) when Clay Morrow would say it on Sons of Anarchy.

It’s like a line on 30 Rock (apologies) when Jack said that he and some woman “were lovers” and Liz said, “oooh, I don’t like that word unless it’s surrounded by ‘meat’ and ‘pizza’.”
