A crocodile grabs a elephant's trunk in the South Luangwa National Park in Zambia. Photographer, Martin Nyfeler was traveling through South Luangwa National Park when he witnessed this female elephant and her baby drinking from the Luangwa River.

Leaping out of the murky waters a vicious crocodile set upon the pair, biting into the female's trunk. Using her mighty strength the female - aided by her brave baby - survived the attack and was later seen feeding from the river later in the day

Oooh, that’s a tough one! I really like The Cat Who Walked Alone...But I also like the poem about the ‘Cameelius Hump. The story was okay, but the poem is epic. :-)

THE Camel’s hump is an ugly lump
Which well you may see at the Zoo;
But uglier yet is the hump we get
From having too little to do.

Kiddies and grown-ups too-oo-oo,
If we haven’t enough to do-oo-oo,
We get the hump-
Cameelious hump-
The hump that is black and blue!

We climb out of bed with a frouzly head,
And a snarly-yarly voice.
We shiver and scowl and we grunt and we growl
At our bath and our boots and our toys;

And there ought to be a corner for me
(And I know’ there is one for you)
When we get the hump-
Cameelious hump-
The hump that is black and blue!

The cure for this ill is not to sit still,
Or frowst with a book by the fire;
But to take a large hoe and a shovel also,
And dig till you gently perspire;

And then you will find that the sun and the wind,
And the Djinn of the Garden too,
Have lifted the hump-
The horrible hump-
The hum that is black and blue!

I get it as well as you-oo-oo-
If I haven’t enough to do-oo-oo!
We all get hump-
Cameelious hump-
Kiddies and grown-ups too!

Yes, I know. I actually had a baby alligator as a pet back in the early '60s.

That poem was hilarious LongElegent! lol! First time I’d heard it.
On stories, I’d have to say How the Rhino got his skin was pretty funny, then let’s see, oh, I forget the name, lemme look it up......ahh yes, “The Beginning of the Armadilloes” was great. :D

they are very powerful...an elephant, in captivity is a working animal. I have seen pictures of them carrying 2 huge logs with their trunk. If the elephant raised her trunk to toss off the croc, and if the croc didn’t immediately let go, I’d say she could toss it 25 yards or more

Because the elephants are mammals like us and the croc is a slimy vicious reptile.
