Are religious leaders, conservative activists, and Jim DeMint responsible for the deaths of gay teenagers? That's the impression left by Kathy Griffin, Wanda Sykes, and Lance Bass, in an extensive interview on the October 4 "Larry King Live."
Focusing on the slew of gay teens who have committed suicide in the past week as a result of bullying, the panel of gay rights activists spewed offensive bile toward preachers of traditional social values.
"The blood is on their hands," decried Griffin, referring to the bullies who abused the gay teenagers, and religious leaders and political figures who oppose gay marriage and the repeal of the military's Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy.
Earlier in the show, Griffin implored viewers to see her ludicrous connection between conservative social policy and gay teen suicide:

Oh brother. Conservatives did not cause this but something needs to be done. What? I don’t know but we don’t need having our kids killing themselves. Suicide is becoming an epidemic. Soldiers are killing themselves at higher numbers than before, now kids who are homosexual are. I think society puts too much pressure on people that they did not have before. Sheesh every kid’s parents have these insane dreams on what they want their kids to be and God forbid you don’t get straight “A”, become quarterback and vote in as Class President. It is tough to kids now a days.

While we’re blaming suicide on everyone except those who choose commit it, why not go after people pushing the idea that if you are gay, then homosexuality is the sum of your identity, and you cannot possibly be at peace with your own sexuality if anyone on earth disapproves of it for any reason?
Ah, but to teach gays to accept that others have the right to disapprove of their choices would be fatal to the gay political agenda.
These misled teens and young adults are killing themselves because their conscious KNOWS they are doing something that is very wrong and they are ashamed. The man who killed himself recently knew he would be found out and couldn’t take it because having sex with another man is simply wrong.
I say those who enable homosexuals in their behavior are the ones who cause a deepening in their confusion and therefore lead them to self-destruction.

Man, with THOSE 3 names you hit the trifecta! I can’t think of 3 scumbags to whom I hold LESS respect! To call them moral dogturds would be disrespectful to the dog, and what he left behind! Other than that I don’t have much of an opinion!
I think the first two are circus performers but I’ve never heard of the third.
