Always a day late and a dollar short! Sorry to be so late answering, but I was involved in receiving reservations for a charity auction next week and it seems most people can not read and those who can need a very short, under 6th grade response. It’s a mess.
Anyway, the times I have had ravs with butternut squash filling, they have had a white sauce on them. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t Alfredo - at least not like the heavy sort on linguini or fettucini. Might have been a light parmesan sauce, but since I never made it, only ate in an Italian restaurant in CA, I’m not sure about the taste of the sauce, only the color.
