While I appreciate what you were trying to show, I firmly believe that this was a VERY bad way to do it. And, frankly, a lot of the damage has already been done...

If you’ll notice, a great many of us caught the mistakes. We also realized that you hadn’t given us a source for the document as well. AND, even though a great many of us trustED you, we STILL wanted to verify independently.

I’d say the only thing you really proved is that you didn’t think it through very carefully, and gave no thought to how your information would be perceived by others beyond trying to prove the point that you have good imagine[sic] (imaging) skills (or maybe it should be skillZ?).

This thread has injured ALL of our credibility, not just “Birthers”, but ALL FReepers. This wasn’t an ‘accident’.

Also, do you know that people can directly copy photos on photobucket to their own accounts? How many people copied the first image you posted? How many have copied the “fixed” one now? How many are coming here and STILL copying it possibly thinking it’s real? Or worse, copying it directly from Photobucket with NO EXPLANATION AT ALL???

I am not an Obot; those who know me know that nothing could be further from the truth. I am however going to question the veracity of this new COLB for two reasons. The certificate number does not match what was posted on Fact Check and Africa is a continent, not a country.

It does however seem to match the latest COLB blank I received from the DoH.

Also, are you just posting a digital image, or are you in possession of an actual COLB?
