Rima Fakih's beauty pageant sash declares that she is Miss USA, but journalists want to find other labels for her.
Questions about Fakih's ethnic and religious identity have been nearly as frequent as questions about photos of her dancing against a stripper's pole.
"I'd like to say I'm American first, and I am an Arab-American," Fakih said. "I am Lebanese-American, and I am Muslim-American."
Fakih, 24, was born in Lebanon, but her family moved to New York when she was 7 years old. She later moved to Michigan, where she went to college.
The rarity of a woman born in the Middle East representing the United States in the Miss Universe pageant spurred internet buzz. One rumor was that Fakih had family connections to Hezbollah, a Lebanese Shiite group that the U.S. designates as a terrorist organization.

How can one be "American first" if one refers to herself as "Arab-American", "Lebanese-American" and "Muslim-American"? If you truly think of yourself as "American first" you won't even think about those other things, let alone boast of them in public. Is there such thing as a "Catholic-American", or a "European-American"?
'Diversity' and 'multi-culturalism' are inherently destructive policies. The root word of "diversity" is DIVISION, or DIVIDE, that little entity that destroys everything it touches. "Multi culturalism" is a contradictory, nonsensical term. A "culture" is the ethnology, life style and mores of a single people; a "multi-culture" is the pseudonym for, (you guessed it), a DIVIDED people. "Diversity", as it is known today, tears at American unity and greatly weakens us.
"A house divided against itself will not stand". Multi-culturalism and 'diversity' are pc schemes that are designed to bring ruin to America.

I know. But it's going to be "interesting" in the future. Water seeks its own level and can't be stopped by anything for long. As all the different 'cultures' within America try to dominate the landscape, as water and the human race are wont to do, there will be unavoidable clashes. I fear for our children's future. We have set the stage for disaster for them.
