Sorry, but this is not creation. Taking parts and reassembling them isnt exactly anything new. You can argue about the sensationalist words used by the "journalists", but that doesn't change that fact that this is an incredible accomplishment that's never been done before.
Perhaps a better words would be genetic engineering. One species of bacteria was turned into another species of bacteria in the process. This shows that it possible to create DNA from scratch using custom code.
