Ok, Freepers. Here is something I do not get.
Mila Kunis and her family immigrate from the USSR (Ukraine) when she is in 2nd grade, and she has this to say about it?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=22rEg0OJa60
She criticizes George Bush for cutting after school programs.
She says that she doesn't think people should own guns.
Seriously, what the hell? How do you come from the USSR to the most free country on the planet and then talk this way?
I really need an explanation because I don't understand how this is possible. I mean, Americans may not appreciate their freedoms because they've never known anything else. But if you come from the USSR with $250 for a family of 6, and now you're a Hollywood starlet, don't you think you'd be approaching this differently?
Someone please explain!
Jump ahead to 3:55 in the video to see her talk about guns. Absurd.
I am a naturalized US citizen, served in US Army and survived communist. I am equally shocked at anyone coming here from any type of dictatorship that actually endorses government control and turn into rabid Libs. However, my experience has been that either, as in this case, she was too young when she came here to remember how bad things were in communist Ukraine and young enough to receive the Liberal indoctrination in the public school system here. The other group of ppl coming from communism who embraces Liberalism are the ones who were actually part of the nomenclature, they were active communist party members and never suffered a day in their life. Everything was provided to them by the government they served by stepping over the neck of general population.
There you have it...
