One of Hollywood's most enduring relationships has ended – Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins have broken up after more than two decades together, PEOPLE has learned exclusively.
"Actress Susan Sarandon and her partner of 23 years, actor Tim Robbins have announced that they separated over the summer," her rep Teal Cannaday tells PEOPLE in a statement. "No further comments will be made."

Girls can say 'no' only if their doing so supports a much greater liberal cause. In the hierarchy of liberal causes, the destruction of capitalism, govt annexation of private industry and direct control over peoples lives by the govt -- rank slightly higher than the destruction marriage, promotion of promiscuity, militant feminism and general societal chaos.
I have to admit watching Bull Durham is a guilty pleasure.
You just KNOW that Timmy’s gonna show up at the next function with a PETA supportin’ 25-year-old bimbo. Susan’s 63, and the new breed of Hollyweird always wants a little eye candy on the arm.
I don’t even think Sarandon has a career left - she’s now doing movies for Lifetime and Oxygen. I can’t remember the last movie Robbins was in. And the strange thing is, dude’s a good actor. I love Shawshank Redemption and The Player. But I’ll NEVER pay any money in a theater to see anything he does.
I can’t stand Susan Sarandon’s politics. HATE IT.
But I do admire her for not nipping and tucking her body or plasticizing her face. Like Meryl Streep, she’s aging gracefully. I’ll give her that.
You guys who are making fun of her because she doesn’t look 21 cannot have it both ways. Admit it — she is more attractive as herself (if you didn’t know what a wingnut she was) than the Meg Ryans and Priscilla Presleys out there, carved up and poufed out by some wealthy surgeons.
62 is not 22, nor should it be. If your Mom is 62 would you rather she looked like Susan or Priscilla?
I wish these two all of the pain and suffering that they have caused to others.

Back when it was still open, I went to quite a few Durham Bulls games in the old Durham Athletic Park, where the movie was filmed.
In the 90’s, a new park opened, which is where the Bulls play now.
For some reason “Cougartown” comes to mind.

I was the only person in the theatre that laughed. That film was brilliant on a lot of levels.

Perhaps the journalist intended to report that they had decided to close their accountancy practice.
They broke up after a heated arguement over who hates Bush more.
