Republican Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.), the ranking Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee, said Monday he plans to filibuster President Obama’s first judicial pick, Judge David F. Hamilton.

Sessions is looking like a star - he’s grilling Holder right now on the NYC trial decision.
I read somewhere that the filibuster failed, in part because some GOP senators voted for cloture.
Old news. The Senate invoked cloture yesterday.
