Census Form

Posted on 10/23/2009 3:28:38 PM PDT by ma bell

On your census form and other forms you fill out, gun purchase, etc... put down "Native American", that is if you were born in the states, which makes you a Native or indigenous American, or a "Local National" as we call Iraqis.

If you were not born in the states, then you are a foreigner or an "African-American, German-American, Japanese-American", a hyphenated-American.

Go ahead and do it, put down Native-American, I have been doing that all summer long.

well, ACORN sent out their "advance party" to get a jump on things. They are some really zippy zappy on the ball folks, very organized, ya know? :)

When you fill out any forms, i.e when I bought my weapons, I filled in Native American.

Except that the form says Native American Indian and if you check that box you have to fill in the box that asks for your tribe. What tribe have you claimed?

I like it too. Been doing it for years. I figure if Ward Churchill can land a cushy Prof job at a university with zero documentation, it’s gotta be good stuff.

I didnt see “Indian”... besides, who would want to claim to be from “Cleveland” nowadays, the poorest city in the USA! If so, I’d put in Rangers as thats my ballteam. Why would they want to know which baseball team is your favorite?? they send out a baseball hat nowadays?

I heard that it now says native american indian, and asks for tribal affiliation. I have been putting down native American for as long as I can remember. I am 1/16th after all.

Actually I was incorrect. I went back and checked and the form says: American Indian or Alaska Native — Print name of enrolled or principal tribe.

Either way, if you claim native status you must claim a legitimate indian tribe. I do not know the consequences for fraudlently filling out the form but I'm betting you will receive a personal visit at some point.

Are there really questions on the Census form re gun ownership?

If so, and if we don't take back the House and Senate in 2010, that Wyoming land is looking better and better.

I’ll fill out name, sex and age as the constitution authorizes an enumeration, but they won’t get the rest out of me.

Looking at the form now. Seems you can choose “some other race”. Guessing you could write in “Native American” there. And that’s the TRUTH...

My suggestion: Race? Other - HUMAN

That’s been my race for three decades of census forms, and it’ll be my answer this year.

I read that an Anglo kid ran into that problem when signing up for some give-away program at his college. When asked what tribe, he replied "SoSueMe". They accepted his application. I kid you not.
