I'm betting on whoever has the most ferocious mascot.
Or I could, like pup, declare who I was for after the game.......

I don't think Texas is as good as last year, and, like Utah getting gypped last year, TCU is probably better. Alabama may be worthy, but since the SEC didn't actually play any tough non conference games, we may never know.
The BCS sucks.

It was an exciting ending to a hard fought game. Nebraska came with a good plan and Texas didn’t play as well as they could have. It looked like McCoy prayed that final field goal through the uprights.

" I'm betting on whoever has the most ferocious mascot"I'm not sure about the ferociousness of either but our majestic Mike VI is certainly the purr-diest! :)

O-M-G!!! I almost forgot the most exciting news of the weekend... we had SNEAUX in South Louisiana Friday night. Around an one or two inches in some places but around in my area it was a beautiful, soft snowfall with virtually no accumulation. Still it was so lovely to see and very romantic looking while it lasted.
It was the earliest December snowfall for the area but it wasn't the only one on record for December. Last year on December 11th we actually had enough snow to talk about, photograph and enjoy for a couple of days. The earliest measurable snowfall was also one of the largest for this far south, 5.3 inches on October 21, 1920 The largest recorded was 6.5 inches on February 15th in 1895.

What a hoax! What a country! For centuries it had been called "weather". Then AlGore changed that one word to two, "Global Warming" and he has made a fortune. Now thats a ponzi scheme that makes Madoff look like an amateur.
