I’ve spent my life trying to remain incognito, because as I’ve said, I had nothing to do with what my father did. Yep, you didn't. Maybe that's your issue. But you sure enjoyed the chance to beat down on someone with differing experiences and viewpoints. Maybe a therapist could work it all out for you.

It's simpler than that. Usually, friends and acquaintances find out about it on their own or through the grapevine, or I eventually tell people after I've known them for a while. It's a lot of fun to talk about and most are very curious about it.

The one time I brought it up in conversation without knowing the individual, I was accussed of bragging.

So, I'm sensitive to that.
