Hello everyone!

The first pre-op went well, although I am experiencing more problems with food allergens and headaches.

The MRI will happen later this week and the surgery is on schedule for the end of this month.

Thus far, I’ve had to eliminate plain drinking water, which appears to relieve congestion and sporadic headaches, beef, potatoes and rice, in addition to flour, milk, soy and all nuts.

Chicken and eggs appear to be miracle foods, so why argue with what seems to work? :)

I left a voice message for the Nurse Practitioner on the status. I don’t anticipate a call back. LOL

Hi save, thanks for the update. Gee, the list of “no-no” foods is still growing, eh? So far, I believe, chocolate has made the cut. If it gets banned I am going to start to worry about your quality of life! 8)

Doesn't surprise me that chicken is OK. Chicken soup used to be known as Jewish penicillin.
