I enjoy all the breeds, but we've always had Quarterhorses. They're pretty much the horse of choice here in Texas - good "cowponies" and for roping, rodeoing, and just Western Pleasure horses.

One of my favorite threads at The Finest (I posted the link so many times I think people got tired of it! LOL) was all about horses - a few different kinds of breeds that I knew about, like these:




Clydesdales


The Lipizzaner Stallions


Tennessee Walkers

Lots of beautiful horses posted today.

I’ve never been around horses, well, I have bet on a few. My mother always loved the Appaloosa.

I have bunches of favorite breeds, too. Morgan was probably my first favorite, quarter horse and Arabian followed. Thoroughbreds because I like the way they ride and Clydesdales because it's the first I rode at 6 yo. And finally Friesian for their size, color and strength.
