I would have to respectfully disagree. Some one had to point a finger at him to single him out. I have seen some of his responses on other threads. They all always thought out and usually right on for the subject discussed..It just seems silly for other freepers to gang up on someone. It seems to me it was meant to ridicule or to try and stop his posting...that is not a good thing for freepers to do.
Anyway I still think your dog is sweet.
Spamming the forum with a deluge of articles of attacks
is propaganda and fear mongering.
Anyone doing that is going to single themselves out
because it's aberrant behavior, out of the norm.
It's an indication of inner anger and a quasi-religious fervor
that can't be dealt with directly in a rational manner.
Look I don't drink.
I can could quite easily assume the role of a rabid anti-alcohol zealot.
I'd call it the Drink of Peace (DOP)
I could post 5,6,7 or 8 posts a day on the horrible deaths that involved alcohol.
I could post gruesome photos of victims of alcohol.
I'd call those that oppose the ban on alcohol lowlifes, criminals,
fiends that don't mind seeing young children maimed or killed
as long as they can have their drink.
I could tell them how there are many other drinks
just a tasty as alcohol but that are safer.
I'd tell them no one needs alcohol.
I'd tell them people can't be trusted to consume alcohol responsibly.
Oh, there may be some that can drink responsibly
but they're going to have to put up with the ban for the greater good.
And I would do this multiple times a day, day after day, week after week.
I'd find a little cadre of fellow zealots, we would support each other
and let any alcohol lovers (DOPers) that came on the thread know how despicable they are in no uncertain terms.
Now how long do you think on a conservative board
would it take for me to single myself out?
