Forgetting these pal?

Which "biblical scholars" would agree with this exactly? Please phrase your answer in the form of someone who doesn't yell at me through a bullhorn on a street corner
People who can travel interstellar distances will posses technologies that we do not yet imagine.
People who can travel interstellar distances will need remote sensing technology that can detect objects at distances of several hundred thousand kilometers so that the ship does not collide with such abjects at near light speeds.
People who can travel interstellar distances will need vehicles that can be maneuvered at near light speeds in order to avoid collisions with such objects.
People who can travel interstellar distances have already mastered radio and microwaves, and can learn all about us by decoding the signals emanating from this planet.
People who can travel interstellar distances will have computers that can calculate trajectories for interstellar travel, as well as monitor the field in front of the ship to track any objects that might cross their path. The computer will have to be able to maneuver the ship around any such objects without subjecting it to stress that would tear it apart.
People who can travel interstellar distances have been around for a while, and we are not going to be the first civilization they encounter. They will also have a wealth of their own recorded history, recorded and readily accessible, to study. See the above comment about computers. We will not present anything particularly interesting to them, nor are we going to have anything that they want or need.
Keep watching Star Trek, but tell yourself that it's fiction. ‘K?
