Amy Winehouse's husband, Blake Civil-Fielder, has begun divorce proceedings against the troubled singer, People reports.
"I can confirm that I have been instructed to commence divorce proceedings on the grounds of Amy's adultery," Henri Brandman, a lawyer for Civil-Fielder, said in a statement.
In recent weeks, Winehouse has been spotted cavorting with 21-year-old rugby player, Josh Bowman, telling News of the World in a candid interview that she's finally sobered up and "in love again."
Civil-Fielder, who spent almost a year in jail for assault ("My Blake, my Blake incarcerated!"), first spoke of ending his marriage to the 25-year-old in November. "I have to let her go to save her life," he said at the time.
The two have been married since May 2007.

Adultry is probably the one grounds where Winehouse has a chance to contest: her argument would be that she has turned into such a crack-whore skank that no one would want to have sex with her anymore, even if just for fear of disease.
Whoever was hitting that is a braver man than I.

But as an aside, I agree - poor Amy Winehouse. She needs a serious intervention. I can’t believe she’s only 25 and looks like that.

What an incredible waste... I truly hope and pray she overcomes her addictions somehow.

Are you sure they’re the same girl? I don’t see the tatoo on the right arm in the 2007 pic, and her lips and nose look different too.
I had to open this up just to see who Amy Winehouse is. I had never heard of her. Now I know why.
Okay, either she’s just an absolute thrill ride, even looking that horrible, or it’s true love. There are no other rational explanations.

I feel sorry for her. I only recently heard her sing, and boy does she have a great voice. Drugs have ruined her life.
Not all of us are playboy-bunny attractive. Maybe she’s a nice person and fun to be with.
