Ahhh....but I'm not from away, good sir. Born and raised a native, currently a M-I-E (Mainer in Exile).
I *do* have first hand knowledge (pun intended) of Maine's fairer sex. To quote Tim Sample, "Shade in the summah and wahmth in the wintah" would be an excellent assessment.
I just thought that FReepers not in the know, deserved a warning. California girls, they ain't. lol!

People are going to come from miles around to a rural town? A quick look at Google Maps shows that Vassalboro, Maine is just off I-95. I guess they figure this will motivate more people to stop for coffee on their way north or south.
