Oh, no! I have never seen a coyote with anything in it’s mouth unless it came from “Yorkie’s Kitchen”. (Back in the old days, years ago, when I threw left-overs out back.)

I did watch a rottweiller chase a coyote through my yard a couple years ago, and when the rotty gave up the chase, and turned to go back to the road, the coyote came running behind him, mouth open. The dust that ensued was like a bomb going off. The rottie came out of the cloud, bleeding and yelping as he ran away. (The rottie was twice as big as the coyote, btw.)

Yep..and THAT’s why the coyote bothers me..We do have outdoor kitties in the neighborhood...and I would hate to see one of them fall victim..My daughter thinks the friendliest prettiest feral cat in her neighborhood was a coyote victim..We have both given up allowing our cats outdoors..It was hard for me ..doesn’t seem natural to keep them in..but now I do.
My adult has adjusted nicely..she used to be an escape artist..The 2 kittens have not made a mad dash outside yet..but I am wary.
