We are getting gusts to 32 knots(36 mph) squally rain and the baro is still dropping at 29.78.I forget, where are y'all?
The forecast is calling for rain for us all weekend. I feel bad for the folks a little north of us with all the flooding. At least one of the families in our homeschool group is trying to keep water out of their house.

Oh wow, I am so sorry to hear that!
We are in the Keys in Islamorada MM 86 oceanside.Probably 2-3 inches of rain today for us, but where I am most of it just drains right into the Atlantic.

Our big worries here are always the same, the big three T'stornadoes, tides and time.
These things spawn a lot of waterspouts which can and are really deadly.
At high tide we can get some serious flooding if the water is piling up offshore,
The longer it lasts the slower these things move, the worse it can be. This storm is moving at 10-15 mph which is fast for a big storm.
