I’ve seen some hand ones but they look cheap.
I’ve got a zillion books, that’s the one I usually refer to. It tells you how to do everything, from a real homesteader who’s done it.
I ran a truck gardening operation for about 6 years. The area I live in just isn’t much of a market for home grown produce, but I sure did learn how to grow things. Learned so much I don’t even garden by the books anymore.
This year I’m going to fool around with biochar.
A new word to me, I haven’t been reading homesteading, since 9-11, have been too busy learning about terror.
Looks interesting.
Like you, I have read many books and could not tell you where some of my ideas come from and like the way I cook, a dab of this and 3 or that, so I do strange things.
Just don’t get suckered in on the human sludge kick that is going around again.
In the late 1950’s it was the best thing ever for raising Cymbidium Orchids, and then the growers started having health problems.
A cut on your hand, if you were using sludge and you might die.
Today, they are attempting to once again convince the public to spread it on the grounds.
Not for me, too many diseases and they already know that the pills people take are coming through the treatment plants.
LOL, again, in my opinion.
