Sounds good. One thing to consider is buying those rigid panels called ‘hog panels’, and making the coop that size. I think they’re about 4 by 12 feet. If you put it on the bottom of the coop, even cover it with dirt so they don’t have to walk on it, no dog or critter could get in.

That’s what Steve was talking about...making the entire run at of wired together hog panels! Like a big cage made from hog panels.

The sides and top would need to have chicken wire on them, to keep out rats and hawks and possums and such.

I’ll email that picture to Steve.

Hmmm...that looks good. I’m wanting to build something to raise meat birds in that we can move around. I’ll need to have an area to get them out of the rain though. We have a used dog run (8x10) that I’m considering, just not sure how to move it around.
