I bet they weren’t happy about that.
I think they were both too sick to care much about a needle prick.
It seems like we are having issues with one of them though. The older one, a “Cattle” dog, seems to be rather possesive around the food. She taken after the puppy a couple of times. They seemed to be best buds, as they were in the same kennel at the shelter. We’ll have to see how this works out.
