Sounds like you've got a bit of a mess underway there.
Outside it looks like iot's going to snow, and LoM says it feels like it too, but it's a bit too warm. Debating... yah, I think I might go throw some lights on the big (10 foot or more) rhody by the drive entrance. Need some color out there..

No fireplace?" The den has a door connecting it to the living room, and a sliding door to the master bedroom. It's on a corner of the house, and it's a bit cool.
I don't want to waste heat just to keep me more comfortable. I can wrap up.
As to the dogs, they join us at bedtime. Every night is a three-dog night.
