We have an African Gray. She will make a sound just like the phone ringing. I have to check the bird before I check the phone. LOL

My Congo grey has a monologue when the phone rings - she imitates the phone ringtone, then yells "get the phone" in my voice, says "hello ... how are you" in my kid's voice, and then immediately goes to "oh OK, bye bye" and beeps like the button. It's a hoot.

Mine also does a microwave beep when she wants a treat, then says “hello! cracker! what’s taking so long?”.

I also have a blue&gold macaw who will chime in and say “mmmm, cracker! Mom, cracker! Nigel want cracker. Mmmmm!”

I love my birds. :)
