My parents have an Amazon. No one has been able to tell what type, the vet actually thinks she may be a mix. She’s hysterical. She’ll do whole phone conversations - from Hello through mumbling and random laughing to Bye-bye.
She’ll start yelling Bye-Bye if she thinks you’ve been on the phone too long.
We have an African Gray. She will make a sound just like the phone ringing. I have to check the bird before I check the phone. LOL

My ‘too makes conversation when I’m upstairs....
I’ll hear “Mumble mumble, mumble...Ha Ha Ha!” Like she’s imitating what she’s hearing from a distance.
