Snow? That is a dirty word.

Nah, it's that white looking stuff that falls from grey clouds, on days that are usually windy and cold.

You must be mistaking the friendly word 'snow', with the evil, dirty word, "Dust".

Dust just gets swept into the trash, snow accumulates and freezes everything.

Oooooooh! Now ya done it!

We durst not speak the 'D' word around here. During the months of July and August, when the blessed rains inflict their seasonal holiday upon us, the gravel roads and too-fast newly-semi-rural liberal neighbors combine to fill the air with same. It becomes incumbent on us to keep all windows closed, in the hottest time of the year (when it can actually, unbelievably, rise above 27C/80F), to avoid the invasive infiltration of such.
