Snow? That is a dirty word. I remember once, when it was snowing in Atlanta, overhearing a stewardess call it a "four-letter word."
Iranians clearly don't like it either. The Farsi words for "snow" and "ice" sound like (I may have these reversed) "barf" and "yock." *\;-)
