Two court battles are set to play out in Supreme Court and Bahamian and according to local news reports authorities are closely watching developments in Florida and they say those developments may have some bearing on local proceedings in the Bahamas. According to the Bahamas Journal, one higher-up official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, told the Journal that Bahamian authorities are watching with great interest to hear what the two pieces of evidence are that are delaying the release of the cause of death and the results of the Broward County Medical Examiner’s autopsy.

The paper notes that the source was referring to reports that the new evidence may have something to do with the narcotic methadone, which reportedly played a part in the death of Ms. Smith’s son Daniel Wayne on September 10, and which many suspect was in the late pin-up’s system when she died in Florida. The report notes that police are continuing to quiz Howard K. Stern about the incidents. That means methadone may be the key in Daniel's investigation.

It is now a waiting game. While Bahamas officials are still trying to sort out the death of Anna's son, Florida authorities have yet to reveal a cause of death for Anna Nicole. Last Friday, Gary Bitner, spokesman for the Seminole Police Department and the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel, told Entertainment Tonight that the investigation is moving forward with new evidence in the case.

"This is not delayed evidence, this is just additional evidence that has come to light during the course of the investigation," he said. "We are finding more information and making that available to everyone involved." He noted that the investigation is still not a criminal investigation, even taking into account the new evidence that is apparently from Anna Nicole's computer. While America processes the evidence, the judicial system in the Bahamas waits for some of the results.

The only grounds that I can see for them getting Howard's DNA is: 1. to prove that he knew all along that he WAS NOT the father and therefore "LYING" when he conspired to put his name on the birth certificate. 2. As supporting evidence that validates the Birkhead results. (In other words, he can't say they were rigged.)

Ron Rales is a flat out liar.

He is saying that Ford and Larry showed up at his door and they wanted to meet with Howard.

That is NOT how it happened; Howard called them over and tried to get them to talk without THEIR lawyers.

He forgot to mention that part.

Not only that, Rales forgot to mention that the first thing HKS asked both Ford and Larry to do was sign a confidentiality agreement.

Just popping in so if someone has made this point I apologize.

I'm sure they want Stern's DNA because if Dannielynn is not his then Virgie can make a claim on her. Bottom line..they want that child out of his clutches.
