Ms. Pelosi is all in a wad this morning because the Vice President sought to tell the American people the truth about the DemoncRAT strategy for Iraq. She is all upset that Cheney would actually say the DemoncRAT plan would "validate the Al Qaeda strategy". She even called the President to whine (the President did not take her call).
Pelosi, on her part, says: "You cannot say as the president of the United States, 'I welcome disagreement in a time of war,' and then have the vice president of the United States go out of the country and mischaracterize a position of the speaker of the House and in a manner that says that person in that position of authority is acting against the national security of our country." She also said "it [Cheney's remarks] has no place in our debate."
Well, Nancy--truth hurts. You and your ilk are indeed unpatriotic, and do not have the best interests of the country at heart. We will work hard over the next two years to point that out. Enjoy.

Good morning. My husband has been on the computer all morning and I'm just popping in to say hi.
Sunny and warm here. Finally!
It's sunny here and warm is a relative concept. After winds that losened the blades from our outdoor porch fans and actually dislodged one last week, 34 degrees with no winds is warm.
LOL. My husband golfed Saturday and said he'd never been so cold in the 9 years since we've lived here. He wore 4 layers and fleece lined pants too.
I'm checking the 10 day forecast fro Lake Oswego, Oregon. I don't want to take a heavy coat if I don't have to do so.
Poor free-flying pelosi, only she know what's right. What a dufus. In her small world, unfortunately for us, only what she and the democRATS think and say is right. Hopefully the sheeple will wake up before 2008 and see what they and the non-voting republicans have wrought on this country.

We had our 3rd Annual President's Republican celebration evening before last and I was so surprised, people I thought were democrats, ARE REPUBLICANS and are happy to see we've formed a club. We also had a few blacks attend, and 2 I learned are staunch Republicans. One is retiring from the Ft Worth area and moving here, so.....hopefully we'll find more Republicans we didn't know we had.
Good for Pres. Bush! Anybody have a link on this story that Chairman sites??
I am disappointed. Our park had a representative from the local RAT party come to speak with us this morning. Come to find out, the DemocRAT Women's group in this area has only been in existence from.....January 2007, LOL!
IOW, this lady didn't know squat about much of anything and I decided that asking her my well thought-out question would be a lot like shooting fish in a barrel.
She was prompt to bring out her voter registration cards and state several times how important it is to register to vote. Surprise, surprise.
Interestingly the Pubs have had a local organization established in this area since about 1940.
I was able to meet some more conservatives that live here though and that's always good.

Dang, I wish I could've felt OK about asking the democrat my question. As it was, the comparison between her lack of knowlege and the amount of good information and insights the from the Pubs who were here last time was so obvious, I was concerned my question would be heard as putting her on the spot. Indeed I knew I'd FEEL that way, the poor dear.
I didn't want to see her eyes get glazed over. LOL!
They advertised, they sell at that price...this from the man of knowledge....
When I make my shopping list I write the item, as well as, the price. I checked the online ad and the items' prices are now changed from .99 # to $1.29 #...so I really don't have proof.
