Have to go for blood test today, will miss a lot of the trial in Fla, hate that too. Being an ole retired police officer I want you to watch, or think of, the folks testifying. The first thing I leaned in my profession was to WATCH THE THROAT!!!lairs swallow over and over again, it like their mouth is dry. To cover this they will drink water over and over to hide the constant swallowing. I saw this with Nicolle's 'manager' when he was on the stand. It hides the Adams apple from going up and down. I hate to miss todays 'show' but, this blood thing is a monthly thing for me. One of those 'post' heart attack things ya know.

Got my first copy of 'Backyard Poultry' yesterday, got some good things to do in keeping your 'flock' safe. My method is easy, I got four dogs that the chickens were raised with and the dogs keep them safe. The only 'varmint'
(critter, varmint but in Mississippian is pronounced 'vomit')

Here I am 70 years old, most folks my age let their hair grow out just to show they still can. Me, I have my GD give me the old crew cut once every week and a half. Reason..this hard, sweating life on the farm, all 7 acres of it. Ha! age does give me the advantage of not doing the things I want to pass up, ac king bones, tired feeling, cough a few times in front of the kids, it works too, not that they don't know what I am doing.

Lots of construction going on now, lots of flim flam going on too. They arrested a man the other day who bilked 125,000 from a older couple. Lots of 'illegals' here too, in fact Foster Care called Tracy yesterday with the possibility of us taking a Spanish child, hey, the child didn't ask for its place in life now. Knowing her, we will have a Spanish child, most likely. A child is a child, a product of Gods hands,

It's 11 pm. Your dad is going to get up in a few moments, fill buckets of water (so we can flush toilets overnight) and then turn off the water to the house. That way we won't bleed the cistern dry before morning. He'll turn it back on in the AM so we can wash.
