Email I just received from Cleo's owner. So great to hear :)

Hey Karri!!! How are you? I remember very well when I got 3 photo's in the mail of Bint Ibn Talal and her half Arab/Quarter baby. She is on foal watch right now! today!!! This will be her third for me. First a colt by my favorite old stallion DR Jahim. Second was a grey filly, now two and a half years old. And this year, this baby is by my stallion that I imported from England a few years ago. Her four/five year old colt bred his first few mares last year, he'll have his first babies in May. She's doing great! Spoiled rotten. How are you? Do you have any other Straight Egyptian jewels hidden up there for me to buy? I now have about fourty horses. The other day, someone asked if they were all for sale. I told them all but Jalal. I specifically went out to buy that mare Bint Ibn Talal to get a replacement of my 18 year friend DR Jahim and he is the replacement. There is no money that will buy him. Isn't that a great story? Nothing like finding a home for a horse that will really appreciate them, Huh? Keep in touch, now. Tom

Hey duchess that sounds great. How nice they responded back to you.

The dog looks pretty nice....do you think she is older?? Did she have the collar on?

Well I just did something really stupid:\ I was trying to get a set of pictures of Harley that better show his confirmation to add to my thread over on the horse forum. Do you know how hard it is to get those type of pictures by yourself:). Anyway I was trying to get him out of the mud so he would be standing level. I was outside fence....guess what...yeah, he got away from me....up the road he went, dragging his lead rope. He didn't go far before he turned around and headed back but went past my drive going the other way....Luckily Grizzly showed up about then, and ran him up by the fake hot wire fence at the front of our property and then sat down and held him there while I came up from the other side. Was totally my screw up for dropping the lead to step back and take a picture, then flipping my hand at him to keep his head up...I wish I would have thought to snap a picture of him running thru the neighbors yard, tail up, stepping high....:)

We went back to his pen to take the pictures:). But now after looking at them, I don't like them and just going to forget it. Horses all look so bad when the have their winter coats, especially lite colored horses like him, he looks so dirty even tho I knocked all the mud off him...I'm not about to post these pictures over there:) Is that too much pride or what:)

Becky
