I didn't leave because of anything you said:), I have JP here today.
I also agree that if something is wrong you should fix it, is what was trying to say, is I can never tell what's wrong. I tried to educate myself and think I made a mess of things:). I'm just going to have to trust the vet and farrier to work together.

Well, I found out was was wrong with my knee. I'm standing during lectures and I noticed today that I am resting my right foot on a bar and putting all my weight on my left leg. I really should go see a doctor but I'm going to try a couple of other things and stop this first.
LOL! Understood. You're spending most of your day chasing him around trying to keep him from wrecking the place or killing himself I'll bet.
With you 100% on this one, Becky. Even though we might have been around horses all our lives, we do not have the knowledge they have been trained for. You see one horse, they see dozens. Sure, you can read and study, which every horse owner should do, but leave the serious problem solving to the experts.
To my knowledge, Bodie has never been shod. He was not broke until last year, so I wouldn't think that he had been. Depending on where I ride and how much, I will probably only have him shod in the front.
