This is a horse chat thread where we share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share. In the previous threads we have had a great time talking through lessons, training, horse lamenesses, illnesses and pregnancies... and always sharing pictures and stories.
I always have a link to this thread on my profile page, so if you have something to say and can't find the thread in latest posts… look for it there and wake the thread up!
I also have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and MissTargets will now be pinging everyone most mornings. Let MissTargets and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list. As FreeRepublic is a political site, our politics and other issues will probably blend in…. There are many issues for horsemen that touch politics… land use, animal rights/abuse cases that make the news…. Legislation that might affect horse owners.
So... like the previous threads, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends. There are lots of ways of doing things and we all have our quirks, tricks and specialties that are neat to learn about.

This Arctic blast will be here for a few days. We did get the water thawed with a torch and have the heat tape on. The two barn cats are in the garage. Just not fit for man or beast out there.
What was it? The ad is not there now.
I did find the ad, had to do another search... No picture this time, not a lot of info? Weird... so you're saying there's an ad that linked to your email address?
I don't have any mares born Jan 2006, no horses at all with that birthdate. I didn't place any ads on that site. When I went to the contact page, it totally shut down.
I am mystified to tell the truth. Apparently the ad was placed in 9/06. So - I'm not losing my mind really.

But someone is making you think you are... Of what possible use is an ad that links a horse that doesn't exist to someone else's email?
I don't know :) I just emailed my ex-DIL to see if she placed the ad. Maybe she found the site and put a generic one in knowing that I'm selling horses. I can't think of any other possible explanation. Although I can't imagine her putting in an ad that called a filly a mare and didn't give an appaloosa coat pattern and didn't give a correct birthdate?????
I finally got the contact page and emailed them asking about the ad. I'll let you know if I hear anything.

Also got an email from Tracey and she is the one that placed the ad. So that mystery is solved :)
Friday has started to bag up.
Won't be long now, huh? Poor Bob. I had one of those once. I didn't know what was wrong with me. I just got home this evening too. My Dad is in the hospital. He was very sick but doing much better now.
Get you a lap top and one of those business seats and time will fly:')
